A thigh lift, also known as thighplasty, is a cosmetic procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat from the thighs, resulting in a more toned and contoured appearance. This treatment is ideal for individuals who have experienced significant weight loss or are struggling with sagging skin due to ageing. A thigh lift helps to smooth and reshape the inner or outer thighs, improving the overall balance of the lower body and enhancing confidence.

Benefits

Skin Tightening: Removes loose and sagging skin, leaving the thighs firmer and smoother.
Fat Reduction: Targets stubborn pockets of fat that are resistant to diet and exercise, helping to contour the thighs.
Improved Comfort: Reduces chafing and irritation caused by excess skin, making it easier to move and wear fitted clothing.
Boosted Confidence: Achieving a more toned appearance often results in a significant increase in self-esteem and body confidence.

What to Expect

Consultation: During your consultation at iQonic, our experienced surgeons will assess your thighs and discuss your goals for the procedure. We will then design a personalised treatment plan tailored to your needs.
Procedure: The surgery lasts between 2 to 3 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. Incisions are made along the groin or inner thigh, depending on the extent of the treatment, to remove excess skin and fat. The remaining skin is then tightened to create a smoother, more contoured appearance.
Surgery Day: On the day of surgery, our team will ensure you are fully prepared and comfortable. After the procedure, you will be closely monitored before being discharged with detailed aftercare instructions to support your recovery.
Recovery: Recovery from a thigh lift takes 2 to 3 weeks. You will need to wear a compression garment to support healing and reduce swelling. Most patients can return to light activities within a week, with full recovery taking up to 6 weeks. Follow-up appointments at iQonic will help ensure your recovery is progressing smoothly, and our team will provide personalised support throughout the healing process.

I had the MIA procedure with Adrian at the end of August and it has changed my life! Hardly any pain or recovery post op which was really important to me with two young children.
