A lower body lift is a comprehensive surgical procedure designed to remove excess skin and fat from the lower abdomen, buttocks, hips, and thighs. It is particularly beneficial for individuals who have experienced significant weight loss and are left with loose, sagging skin that does not respond to diet and exercise. This procedure not only tightens and sculpts the lower body but also enhances the overall body contour, providing a more toned and proportionate appearance.

Benefits

Comprehensive Contouring: The procedure addresses multiple areas at once, delivering a balanced, sculpted look across the lower body.
‍Skin Tightening: Removes loose, sagging skin, improving skin tone and reducing discomfort caused by excess skin folds.
Improved Comfort and Mobility: Eliminating excess skin can make physical activities easier and more comfortable.
Boosted Confidence: Patients often experience a significant improvement in their self-image and confidence following the procedure.

What to Expect

Consultation: During your consultation at iQonic, our experienced surgeons will assess your lower body and discuss your aesthetic goals. Using Adoreal’s advanced Silhouette tool, we will develop a personalised treatment plan based on your needs.
‍Procedure: The surgery typically lasts between 4 to 6 hours and is performed under general anaesthesia. The surgeon will make strategic incisions to remove excess skin and fat, while also lifting and tightening the remaining tissue across the abdomen, buttocks, thighs, and hips.
Surgery Day: On the day of your surgery, our dedicated team will ensure you are comfortable and fully informed about the procedure. After surgery, you will be closely monitored as you begin your recovery process in a safe and supportive environment.
Recovery: Recovery from a lower body lift requires 2 to 3 weeks of rest before returning to light activities, with full recovery taking 6 to 8 weeks. You will need to wear a compression garment to support the healing process and minimise swelling. Regular follow-up appointments at iQonic will ensure that your recovery is progressing smoothly, and our team will provide you with personalised guidance throughout the healing process.

I had the MIA procedure with Adrian at the end of August and it has changed my life! Hardly any pain or recovery post op which was really important to me with two young children.
